BVB does not make Hertha keeper number two

Marwin Hitz has fueled rumors about a farewell to Borussia Dortmund with a spicy post on Instagram. In this case, BVB would have to look for a new replacement for Stamm keeper Gregor Kobel. Marcel Lotka, who comes from Hertha BSC free of charge in the summer, will probably not become number two of the black and yellow.

After Marwin Hitz rose to the regular player in the past second half of the season at BVB, the Swiss has only been a substitute goalkeeper since the arrival of Gregor Kobel. But apparently the 34-year-old would like to be used more often in the future.

After the Bundesliga classic against FC Bayern (1: 3), Hitz posted a picture on Instagram that he provided with the comment “The Last Classic”. A clear indication that the veteran could have played against the record champions for the last time as a BVB goalkeeper.

Should Hitz actually leave the Westphalia in summer, the Dortmund responsible should find a solution for the post behind Kobel. According to the “Ruhr Nachrichten”, the fact that Marcel Lotka, the Hertha BSC’s free transfer from Hertha BSC, is “unlikely”.

Hitz probably in front of BVB subscription

According to this, the 20 -year -old – like the BVB young gatekeepers Luca Unlockun and Silas Ostrzinski – is “granted great development potential”, but Borussia apparently pursues other plans behind Kobel.

The Confederation changed from FC Augsburg to Dortmund in 2018 and has since played 44 competitive games for BVB. Most recently, the “kicker” reported that the Fuggerstadt residents would think about a return action. Rafal Gikiewicz is currently standing between the posts at FC Augsburg.

It is not known whether Hitz is interested in a second commitment at Bayern. It only seems clear that his time at BVB is coming to an end.
