Manchester United: Positive talks between Manchester United and Erik Ten Hag

Looking for a successor to the transition solution Ralf Rangnick, England’s football record champion Manchester United led according to media reports talks with coach Erik Ten Hag by Ajax Amsterdam. These are said to have been “positive” according to SKY Sports “positive”, the club bosses had been “impressed” by the vision of their candidate.

This is consistent with information that Ten Hag and Goal are present. Next to Ten Hag, however, Mauricio Pochettino (currently PSG), Jull Lopetegui and Luis Enrique are also on the list of English record champions.

Rangnick (63) had replaced the luckless Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in December in Old Trafford, but is supposed to act from summer at manunited but only as a consultant. For the post of team manager, there are other candidates next to the Dutchman Ten HAG: Mauricio Pochettino (Paris Saint-Germain), Julen Lopetegui (FC Sevilla) and the Spanish national coach Luis Enrique are traded.

Thomas Tuchel also considered the financial problems at the Champions League winner FC Chelsea because of the retreat of the Russian owner Roman Abramovich in the meantime as a candidate, but the German coach was known to the blues.

Hag is bound to Ajax by 2023. Like Sky Sports and the BBC reported, be it too early to classify the 52-year-old as a favorite for the Office. Manunited wants to lead more conversations with other candidates.
